Thanksgiving

In America, we set aside one day to give thanks for all we have. Whether we gather with friends, family or alone, it is a time to give thanks. However, if you shift the conversation from Thanksgiving to Thanks for Giving, it places the responsibility on you to acknowledge the act of giving. To your parents, thank them for giving you life. To your spouse, thank him/her for loving you as you are. To your children, thank each one for being your inspiration to being a better person.

Who you are is the culmination of every interaction you've ever had. Whether that interaction was negative or positive, it became a part of you. Thank each person, known or unknown, for giving you a piece of them and contributing to your life.

Thank God for giving his son. Thank Jesus for giving his life. Thank the Holy Spirit for giving inner-peace.

Be thankful for those men and women who gave all they had to protect our freedom.

You give yourself to this world, whether it be within your home, in your community or globally. You matter to the common consciousness. Your thoughts play a part in the global conversation. Who you are impacts the world.

Be the first to:
Love.  Forgive.   Smile.  Hug.

Who you are is reflected in the actions you choose to take.
What Would Jesus Do?
